Founded by local business owner Lisa Tennant, the Ashbourne Business Networking group promises to infuse quality connections with an informal, social, and fun networking experience.

Well, this promises to be an informal networking event, where you can come and enjoy a social evening, get to know local business owners, make connections, and most of all, enjoy yourself.

There will be no dreaded elevator pitches, as we understand that not everyone wants to stand up in a room full of people and talk confidently about themselves. Instead, we will give out delegate sheets with all the information you need about attendees, giving you the chance to connect with people later, and they to connect with you. Your details won't be included if you don't want them to be, don't worry!

As well as casual mingling with other attendees, we aim to have speakers at every event, bringing value to you as a business owner. At the end of the night, feel free to stay behind and enjoy drinks as you continue to make worthwhile connections.

What happens at the event?

The first half hour is for networking, so get there on time at 6:30pm, to grab yourself a coffee and enjoy meeting new people and making connections. From 7pm until around 7:20pm we usually have a guest speaker. There will then be time for questions followed by a short break. After that, there's more networking. We'll ask you to switch tables at least once to meet other people.

Do I have to stand up and tell everyone about myself?

There are no elevator pitches at our event. It's very relaxed and informal, so no, don't worry about standing up in front of a room full of people. Instead, just tell people about yourself on the table you sit at.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Yes! Plenty of business cards. You can also bring along a roller banner, or leaflets, product samples and bits and bobs you might want to put out for sale.

What happens to my payment if I can't make it?

Unfortunately we cannot refund you if you cannot make the event but we can move your ticket to another date, once. Just drop us an email at lisat@ltvaservices.com to let us know.

Can I speak at an event?

Yes you can! A form will be on it's way to you already to ask you if you would like to speak at a future event.

How can I connect with people after the event?

You will be invited to our Facebook Group and a delegates list will be sent to you after the event so that you can connect with people online.

Is there disabled access?

Unfortunately the room we use is up a flight of stair with no disabled access, we are truly sorry. We are currently looking for alternative, suitable venues that can accommodate everyone.
